IRP~making your choice

Welcome to your first semester Independent Reading Project:

Please choose your literary work wisely.  Keep a few things in mind:
1.  Choose something challenging
2.  Choose something that interests you
3.  Choose something you want to explore in more depth
4.  Choose something that will make you think

Read as many books as you can before you settle on the one work that you plan to share with the class.

Once you've chosen your novel, read it carefully and in its entirety.

Find themes that connect to current life

Find connections to your life or to the life of someone you know.

Find the value in the novel

Find a way to share this information in a creative, inspirational, and unusual way.

Click reply below and tell me what literary work you plan to read this semester.  Include full title and author.  You must give it a 50-page try before switching to another work.
